About the author
Roxanne Drolet is a writer, director, audio producer, musician and actress. Drolet’s previous credits include writing and directing the short film Seaside and national commercials for Jolly Rancher, Kit Kat and many others. Theater experience includes composing music for the off-Broadway Love's Labour's Lost, The Tempest and The Star Play at HERE in New York, and more recently acting in Broadway Our Way and the Short Plays Festival for West Hartford Community Theater. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, her compositions include music for NBC’s network TV show The Black Donnellys, the independent film Anything Once, as well as a series of Addy Award-winning Heineken commercials airing in seven countries.
The Creative Team
Rounding out the 29 Paintings creative team is Haley Nelson of West Hartford and Ethan Hale “on loan” from the Telluride Theater in Telluride, Colorado.
Haley Nelson has been working on stage and off on theater projects for 15 years including Gertrude in Hamlet: 7 Rooms and Sunflower in Mr. Marmalade at Ravencroft Theater at Franklin Pierce University, The Winter's Tale and Museum of Life at Central Connecticut State University and Pericles and Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare Academy at Stratford.
Ethan Hale has a bachelor’s in theater from the University of Wyoming and is the co-founder of two theater companies, Squidshow and the Telluride Theater where he acts, writes, paints sets and composes music for many original productions including The Dufreign Family and Susan and Kevin's Christmas Party Saves the World.
